Welcome to Documaster. This Privacy Policy explains how NextGen Software Tech ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use our mobile application Documaster (the "Application").

A. Personal Data

We generally do not collect personal information like your name, address, or phone number unless you voluntarily provide it to us by contacting us directly for support. However, we may collect device-specific information such as your device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers (Advertising ID).

B. Document and File Data (Local Processing)

Crucial Note: Documaster is designed to process your documents locally on your device. When you use features such as:

• Image to PDF Converter
• PDF to Image Converter
• Text Extraction (OCR)
• QR/Barcode Scanning
• PDF Merging/Splitting/Password Protection

All processing happens offline on your device. We do not upload your personal documents, scanned images, or extracted text to our servers. Your files remain private and stored on your device storage unless you explicitly choose to share them via third-party apps (e.g., email, WhatsApp).

C. Permissions We Request

To provide the features of the Application, we may request access to:

• Camera: Required to scan documents, take photos for PDF conversion, and scan QR/Barcodes.
• Storage (Read/Write): Required to access images/files for conversion and to save the created PDFs or images to your device.
• Internet: Required for serving advertisements (AdMob), analytics (Firebase), and in-app purchases.

2. Use of Third-Party Services

We use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. We do not control these third-party services and are not liable for their privacy practices. The services we use include:

A. Google AdMob (Advertising)

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in the free version of Documaster. AdMob may use cookies and unique device identifiers (Advertising ID) to serve personalized ads based on your interests and previous browsing behavior.

• If you are in the EEA (European Economic Area), you may be presented with a consent form to choose between personalized or non-personalized ads.

B. Google Firebase (Analytics & Crashlytics)

We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to help us understand how our App is being used and to improve its stability.

• Analytics: Collects data such as how often you use the app, which features are most popular, and retention metrics. This data is aggregated and anonymous.
• Crashlytics: In the event of a crash, this service collects logs that help us identify the cause of the error (e.g., stack traces, device state at the time of the crash).

C. Google Play Billing (In-App Purchases)

Documaster offers Premium features via In-App Purchases (Lifetime, Monthly, or Yearly subscriptions). All financial transactions are handled directly by the Google Play Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card numbers or bank account information.

3. How We Use Your Information

Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we use information collected via the Application to:

• Facilitate the creation of PDFs and scanning processes.
• Improve the efficiency and operation of the Application.
• Monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve your experience (via Firebase).
• Deliver targeted advertising (via AdMob) to support the free version of the app.
• Resolve disputes and troubleshoot problems (via Crashlytics logs).

4. Data Retention and Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. Since your documents and files are stored locally on your device, their security also depends on your device's security settings (e.g., screen lock, encryption).

Please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.

5. Policy for Children

We do not knowingly solicit information from or market to children under the age of 13. If you become aware that any data has been collected from children under age 13, please contact us using the contact information provided below.

6. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)

Since we primarily use third-party services (Google) for data collection, you can manage your ad preferences directly through your Google account settings.
