Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms", "Terms of Service") carefully before using the Documaster mobile application (the "Application") operated by NextGen Software Tech ("us", "we", or "our").

Your access to and use of the Application is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Application.

By accessing or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Application.

1. License to Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, NextGen Software Tech grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the Application on a mobile device owned or controlled by you, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

2. User Content and Local Processing

2.1 Ownership: You retain all rights and ownership of the documents, images, and files ("User Content") that you scan, import, or create using Documaster. We do not claim ownership over your User Content.

2.2 Local Storage: As described in our Privacy Policy, Documaster is designed to process files locally on your device. We do not upload, store, or view your documents on our servers. Consequently, you are solely responsible for backing up your data. NextGen Software Tech shall not be responsible for any loss of data, corruption of files, or accidental deletion of documents stored on your device.

3. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use the Application for any unlawful purpose or in any way that interrupts, damages, or impairs the service. Specifically, you agree not to:

• Use the OCR or editing features to forge documents or create misleading content.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the Application.
• Attempt to bypass any security features or access control measures of the Application (including Premium restrictions).
• Use the Application to scan or process illegal content, including but not limited to child exploitation material or copyrighted material without permission.

4. Intellectual Property

The Application and its original content (excluding User Content provided by you), features, and functionality (including but not limited to the Documaster logo, design, and code) are and will remain the exclusive property of NextGen Software Tech and its licensors. The Application is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both domestic and foreign countries.

5. Subscriptions and Purchases

5.1 Premium Features: Documaster offers a free version supported by ads and a Premium version available via In-App Purchases (Monthly, Yearly, or Lifetime).

5.2 Payment: All financial transactions are handled by Google Play Store. We do not process payments or store your billing information.

5.3 Refunds: Refunds for subscriptions or one-time purchases are subject to Google Play's Refund Policy. We are unable to process refunds directly.

5.4 Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings. The cancellation will take effect after the current billing period ends.

6. Third-Party Services and Ads

The Application may contain third-party content, including advertisements served by Google AdMob. We also use Firebase for analytics. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You acknowledge and agree that NextGen Software Tech shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused by your use of any such third-party services.

In no event shall NextGen Software Tech, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Application;
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Application;
• Any content obtained from the Application; and
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Application after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
